Other than when I install an additional Network Interface Card into my Primary server should I expect downtime during a Neverfail implementation?

Follow

Yes, due to the nature of the cloning of the Primary server to the Secondary server the applications that are to be protected on the Primary server must be closed during the backup process.

The typical downtime for a normal LAN implementation of Neverfail products will be for a period between 10 minutes and half an hour dependant on network and system speed.

The downtime for a WAN implementation will vary depending on whether or not application data was to be included in the backup set, the size of the applications data, as well as the system speed and the speed of the backup device.
