Summary
This Knowledgebase article provides information about now IP addressing is handled in a Neverfail server pair.
More Information
In a LAN deployment, the Primary and Secondary machines have the same IP address and appear as one system on the network. The two machines in a server pair have the same NetBIOS name, the same SID, and the same principal (public) IP address. The Neverfail Heartbeat software prevents the passive system from presenting itself to the network so there are no issues with IP conflicts or machine name conflicts.
