How does the product handle severed channel communications?

Follow

Summary

This Knowledgebase article provides information about how Neverfail handles communication failures.

More Information

Neverfail maintains a “heartbeat” between the servers, which can be configured by the administrator to activate the Secondary server if the Primary server is unresponsive after a specified number of failed heartbeats in a set period of time. Intervals can be modified by the administrator in coordination with normal operations. Additionally, Neverfail recommends that customers use a minimum of two channels to protect against channel communication failure.
