This Knowledgebase article explains the settings needed by Live Meeting to allow remote control to be enabled.
In order for remote desktop control to be shared, you must ensure that the meeting options are correctly set before commencing.
In order to allow remote control sessions within your Live Meeting you must first of all make sure that the setting is turned on to allow it. To find this setting, logon to the Live Meeting service with your username and password and then click on the My Home link. Click on the Meet Now details link, and then click on Meet Now Options on the right of the page. Under the heading, 'Additional Features' you will see options for application sharing.
These following options must be set:
- Application Sharing - must be selected
- When sharing desktop, Frame or Single Application - must be selected
- Allow meeting participants to request control - must be selected
In order to be able to end the meeting correctly when finished, also ensure that the option Show End Session Option in Console is also selected or the meeting will continue even after you have closed Live Meeting and charges for use will be incurred.
