The Neverfail for SQL Server Plug-in provides file and registry filters that replicate critical data and monitors the performance of critical components of the SQL Server application.

Release Notes for:

New Features

  • The plug-in format for this product allows uninstall, reinstall, and upgrading without the need to stop Neverfail Heartbeat.
  • A Rule to check that all databases are available.
  • Performance monitoring of default and named instances:
    • Memory, buffer cache hits, working set process, and free pages.
  • The plug-in can automatically protect SQL Server services that are enabled for use by Administrators.

Changed Features

  • This plug-in supersedes the previous released Neverfail for SQL Server Application Module (AM) and plug-in V201.5.1.

Installation Information

Initial installations of Neverfail for SQL Server Plug-in should be performed via Neverfail Setup.  Subsequent reinstallations and upgrades may be performed using the Application -> Plugins tab of the Neverfail Heartbeat Management Client.
