Symptoms

Attempting to upgrade Neverfail vSphere Client results in the Advanced Management Client failing to download.

Cause

This occurs as a result of Temporary Internet files not being cleared prior to the upgrade attempt.

Resolution

If the vSphere Client continues to show a previous version of the Neverfail Plug-in, follow the steps below:

  1. Log out of the vSphere Client.
  2. On the same machine where the Neverfail vSphere Client is running, navigate to Internet Options > General > Delete and click on Delete Temporary Internet Files.
  3. Restart the Neverfail vSphere Client and log in.
