This Knowledgebase article provides information about RSS subscription feeds that are created on an active server but are no longer available after a switchover from a Primary-previously active server to the Secondary-newly active server. In the information below it is assumed that the feeds were created with the Primary server as active.
Neverfail for SharePoint does not replicate RSS subscription feeds configuration information from the Primary-active to the Secondary-passive server. Upon switchover, RSS subscription feed information is unavailable. To ensure that RSS subscription feeds are available after a switchover to the Secondary-newly active server, implement one of the following procedures:
- Manually configure RSS subscription feeds on the Secondary server.
- Manually add the filters listed below for each user that has created RSS subscription feeds.
