This
article provides information on how to backup Neverfail Continuity Engine
clusters through Veritas NetBackup, using Passive Node Management
feature.
Neverfail
Continuity Engine servers should be able to access Veritas NetBackup in order
to be managed remotely from there.
Thus, a Management Name and IP Address with access to Veritas
NetBackup must be
configured on each node, in
order to be able to connect to Veritas NetBackup Client when both in active or
passive role.
On the
client servers, add to the "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts"
the row <Master server's IP> <Master server's fqdn>.
On the Master server, add to the "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts" the row <Pair server's IP> <Pair server's fqdn>.
From NetBackup Management tab, press Configure a Policy:

if they're active or passive.
