Configuring VMware Converter In Neverfail Engine Management Server (EMS)

This Knowledgebase article provides the procedure used to configure VMware Converter for cloning from a physical server to a virtual server.
More Information
Use the Configure VMware Converter feature to convert physical Primary or VMs with a different hypervisor than ESXi to virtual Secondary and/or Tertiary servers during the automated cloning process used by Neverfail Continuity Engine Management Service to create the Secondary and/or Tertiary servers.
Prerequisites
VMware Converter 5.5 or later must be installed manually.
Procedure
To configure the VMware vCenter Converter from the EMS UI:
- Go to the Settings> vCenter Converter connection and click the Configure button to display the Configure vCenter Converter connection wizard.
- Edit the VMware vCenter Converter URL
- Enter the Username and Password for an account with Administrator permissions on the VMware Converter server. Click Next.
- Click Finish to accept the configuration parameters.
