How to Stop and Start Applications in Neverfail Continuity Engine

Neverfail Continuity Engine allows you to stop and start applications and monitoring from the Engine Management Service.

Procedure 

Starting and Stopping Protected Applications 

To stop or start an application, follow the steps below: 

Protected applications are manually started and stopped from the Actions drop-down.

  1. Open the Engine Management Service.
  2. Select the server group and click on the Actions drop-down.

    Application Status
  3. To start all protected applications, click on the Start Applications button. To stop all protected applications, click on the Stop Applications button.

Application Monitoring 

Application monitoring can be started or stopped from the Applications: Summary page using the procedure below:

  1. Open the Neverfail Advanced Client.
  2. Select the Applications: Summary tab.
  3. To unprotect and stop monitoring a protected application, click on the Configure button in the Applications pane and select to Unprotect services and stop monitoring all applications(for manual application maintenance).
  4. Click on OK.
